Leathercraft Jorge Sofa 1490
The Leathercraft Jorge Sofa is a beautifully styled leather sofa with the arms and back the same height, a Tuxedo design. Pleated leather on the inside of the backrest and sides. Welted seams on 2 Feather Fiber seat cushions. Designed with a 25″ depth seat dimension. A brushed steel plinth base and legs, powdercoated in your choice of selected color of Cardinal Powder Coating. Durably constructed by Leathercraft (started in 1969) with time tested methods including kiln-dried Maple hardwood frame that is corner blocked, double doweled, glued and screwed. Traditional 8-way hand tied spring support underneath the seat cushion provides lasting comfort. Throw pillows are optional. A similar design with tufting, nail trim and bench seat is available with the Cynthia Sofa 1460.
There are 100’s of leather colors available. Some leathers are tanned with protection (Aniline Plus) to resist scratches, stains and fading from sunlight, perfect for active families with kids and pets that will use the furniture. Other leather colors have no protection (Pure Aniline) and will develop a beautiful patina over time from daily use. Both types of leathers are top-grain and aniline dyed, some are also full-grain leathers meaning the grain has not been altered.
