Cushion Options by Leathercraft
To assure you that your furniture will continue to look good and stay comfortable, we install cushions with the best foam for comfort that provide stability and durability. We use only polyurethane that is CFC free, which will not injure the ozone layer. It costs a little more, but we feel the commitment is worth it. Every little bit helps. All the polyester fiber used is non-allergenic. It is the same fiber fill used in many bed pillows.
The foam used in our cushions include Biopolyols. Biopolyols are made by a renewable crop of American grown soy beans. These biopolyols reduce the use of petroleum base chemicals when making polyurethane foam. This type of foam reduces the use of oil, supports our American farmers, is comfortable, durable and environmentally friendly.
Spring Poly Dacron seat cushion: This cushion uses springs in the center of the 2.0 high density 19 pound high resilient polyurethane foam, then surrounded with soft Dacron polyester fibers, and then encased in a woven cover prior to being enclosed in a zippered leather casing.
Feather, Fiber and Foam seat cushion: For the ultimate posh comfortable "sat in look", a blend of duck down, goose feathers and polyester fiber are used. These precious materials are encased in a down proof high thread count cotton ticking, just like the best comforters. These cushions contain a core of 2.0 high density 19 pound high resilient polyurethane foam wrapped in blankets of feather and fiber (50% polyester fiber - 50% feather consisting of 90% goose feathers and 10% down.)
Poly Dacron seat cushion: Contains a core of 2.0 high density 19 pound high resilient polyurethane foam wrapped in layers of Dacron polyester fibers inserted into a muslin cover then inserted into the zippered leather casing.
