Hand Made in North Carolina. Comfort Design specializes in making the finest made-to-order stationary and motion leather furniture available. Only the best materials available are used in the hand-made construction by skilled craftsmen and American Artisians. Everything is made in America, not just assembled in America.
Shoppers may customize their furniture for individual expression by selecting the leather hide to be used on their furniture. They may also select the exposed wood finish color and the nail head trim for a custom design all their own. Discerning tastes will appreciate the diverse selection of Comfort Design furniture. Durable and fashionable, every sofa and chair is built with a keen eye for detail. Additionally, rather than building furniture based upon cost-cutting straight edge frames, Comfort Design's sleek curves sustain the unique design integrity that defines them.
All good quality begins with a strong foundation. Therefore, in our motion furniture, such as recliners, we use steel to tie our kiln-dried hardwood frames together, steel seat boxings to ensure the long life of our springing system and our reclining mechanisms are made, not merely assembled, in the USA. We use the best high resiliency cushioning available and completely cover the furniture in premium top grain cow hide. Split leathers and vinyls are never used.
We combine state-of-the-art manufacturing with a tradition of meticulous, hand-built detail to produce beautiful and long-lasting custom-designed furniture. One-of-a-kind furniture pieces that can be passed on from generation to generation. Comfort Design is committed to providing the finest leather furniture available.
