Seat Cushion Options

The seating used for Comfort Design furniture is made in America and designed to be the best in the furniture industry. What makes these seating products so superior is the high density, 20 lb compression high resiliency foam cores which provide lasting comfort, support and durability.

This foam is ecologically friendly as it uses viscoelastic Biopolyols which are made by a renewable crop of American grown soy beans. These biopolyols reduce the use of petroleum base chemicals when making polyurethane foam. This type of foam reduces the use of oil, supports our American farmers, is comfortable, durable and environmentally friendly.

Down Blend - is our most popular cushion. It is made with a blend of 50% down feathers (from under the neck of the water fowl) and 50% down-like synthetic Dacron fibers. This blend is insterted into a down proof casing that covers a 2.5 LB High Density, 20 LB compression High Resiliency Foam Core made with biopolyols. The cushion is then covered in muslin and then your leather color choice. Any seat cushion made with feathers has a tendency to slightly flatten out on top over time and requires a little puffing up to regain its shape.

Posture Plush - This is a great option for those who do not wish to have feathers in their cushions or want a cushion that tends to hold it shape longer. The Posture Plush starts with a 2.5 LB High Density, 20 LB compression High Resiliency Foam core made with biopolyols, then it is covered in Dacron synthetic down-like fiber wrap for additional softness, then covered in muslin and finally in your leather color choice. Provides comfortable, relaxing and durable support.
