Cleaning Information
Under normal usage conditions, regular dusting and vacuum cleaning in crevaces or bottoms is all that is necessary to clean your furniture. Do remember that exposure to excessive sunlight and heat or extremely dry rooms may cause leather to fade or lose softness. Just draw the drapes or add humidity to the room. To treat stains, act imediately. Blot the area with a clean absorbent cloth or sponge. Do not rub. For butter, oil or grease - wipe excess off the leather with a clean dry cloth, then leave it alone as the spot should dissipate into the leather in a short period of time. Do not apply water or try to wash such spots. Never use furniture polish, oil, varnish or any other type of chemical. Never use harsh cleaners such as Armor All, Scott's Liquid Gold, Murphy's Oil Soap, Son-of-a-Gun, Pledge, Endust, Saddle-Soap, abrasive cleaners like Ajax, Comet, etc. or any type of accelerated cleaners such as Fantastic, 409, Windex, etc. as they will damage the leather surface beyond restoration.
REMEMBER- If you have any questions please contact Leather Furniture USA at 800-603-7133. It is always best to test clean an inconspicuous area of the piece before proceeding with cleaning. The furniture manufacturer or LEATHER FURNITURE USA cannot guarantee the cleanability of any leather. While the appearance of some stains may be made less noticeable by using this cleaning process, certain stains, by their very nature, cannot be completely removed.
