Receiving Instructions
- It is the manufacturer's responsibility to safely ship the furniture without damage or missing items.
- It is the delivery service responsibility to deliver the furniture without damage or missing items.
- It is your responsibility to fully inspect the furniture upon arrival for any damage or missing items. Please detain the driver until this is completed.
- You will be required to sign the driver's delivery receipt, indicating your acceptance and receipt of the furniture. If there is damage to the furniture, no matter how minor, please describe the damage to the box and to the furniture, in detail, on the driver's delivery receipt prior to signing your acceptance. Obtain your copy of the delivery receipt from the driver. If this is not done then the manufacturer and delivery service are no longer liable for any damage. Please retain the original box and packing materials for inspection or return.
- Take pictures of the damage, provide us with those pictures and a copy of the driver's delivery receipt that describes the damage. Upon receipt of this information we will have the damaged item repaired or replaced as quickly as possible.
- If items are missing please describe those missing items on the driver's delivery receipt. Obtain your copy of the delivery receipt from the driver. If this is not done then the manufacturer and delivery service are no longer liable for missing items.
- Provide us with a copy of the driver's delivery receipt that describes the missing items. Upon receipt of this information we will have the missing items sent to you as quickly as possible.
- It is a rarity when shipping damage occurs and the above instructions provide you a recourse if it does occur.
